Painting over mould is not recommended because the paint will not kill the mould nor stop it from growing if the surface gets wet. It’s recommended that surfaces that can be cleaned be washed with a detergent and then dried. Painting can be done after the mould is removed. The source of moisture should be identified and corrected so us to control mould growth.
