No, mold effects on health are not the same on everyone. In fact only about 20% percent of the human population is naturally sensitive to mold. However, the rest of the population can also develop sensitivity if exposed to high concentrations of mold for a long time. Also, some individuals may be sensitive only to some types of mold. Individuals with a history of allergy may react from exposure to small amounts of mold.
Mold effects on health may include nasal stuffiness, throat irritation, coughing or wheezing, eye irritation, or, in some cases, skin irritation. Individuals with mold allergies may have more severe health effects.
