How do I test for mold?

There are several ways to test for mold depending on the situation. For visible mold growth, one can either cut a piece of material from the contaminated area and send it to the lab. However, if you don’t want to damage the area, you could use clear scotch tape. Press the sticky side onto the mold and then stick the tape on plastic bag and send it to the lab.
